PRESS STATEMENT
I Have Not Been Disqualified From The Guber Race

Don’t Lose Guard, We Are Still Leading

Pursuant to the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA guidelines for the the process of Nominating Governorship Candidates, the party shall conduct a statewide Congress to elect Ad-Hoc Delegates who would in turn Nominate aspirant of their choice at the party primaries which has been slated for June 23, 2021 (Pending till any further changes).

We wish to appeal to our ardent supporters, party faithfuls across the Three Hundred and Twenty Six (326) political wards in the State to go down to the various wards and participate thoroughly at the exercise; the news making round about the disqualification of Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Michael Umeoji KSJI, MHR, the most popular and leading Gubernatorial Aspirant of APGA, is an avenue to dissuade party faithfuls and supporters from participating fully in the Congress; kindly ignore the rumour and words on the street and be on guard against imposition of any candidate which they intends doing through the APGA ward Congresses slated for 15th and 16th of June 2021.

Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Michael Umeoji KSJI, MHR has not been disqualified, do not be swayed by the propaganda in the streets and the excesses of other lunatics who have decided to preempt the constituted Screening Committee of our great party and usurp the powers of the NWC.

Be wary of rumour mongers and those who profit from chaos – there’s No foul play anywhere in APGA, we trust and believe in the leadership dexterity of the indefatigable National Chairman of our great party, Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Oye.

Ensure you participate fully and thoroughly in the Ad-Hoc delegate exercise, guard your ward strongly and don’t give room for any Imposition and manipulated congress.

The election must be FREE, FAIR, CREDIBLE AND TRANSPARENT.

Be Prepared, Be Vigilant, Be on Guard, Be a good Party Man, Victory is Sure!

Signed:
Hon. Chukwuma Michael Umeoji KSJI, MHR
